Chitwan Part 2

This morning we got to ride elephants through Chitwan National Park. Chris, Lizzie and I sat on top of an elephant with a guy from Oregon as we went through the forest. We saw rhinos, deer and a lot of different birds including egrets, a grey heron and an eagle. The language barrier made it difficult to ask our guide questions but I think our elephant was about 35 years old. After we went down to a nearby riviera and got to see the elephants bathing. Although it was a great experience to be so close with elephants I feel like riding them isn't the most humane thing to do.
