Sukothai and Ayutthaya

From the 26-29 our school group traveled south to two of the ancient capitals of Thailand. First we visited Sukothai which was an ancient kingdom that existed between 1238-1419. We explored the Sukothai Historical Park where we got to see numerous ancient temples, some surrounded by water. After a day of exploring Sukothai we moved southbound to Auytthaya and got to see even more temples. The Kingdom of Auytthaya existed from 1351 to 1767. Although I've seen my fair share of temples here in Thailand, it was amazing to see temples that were so old and that have remained in such great condition.
